@Johnny ‘Decimal’ Noble I flirt with a lot of browsers, but this is something I really liked about #arcBrowser Tabs are temporary by default unless you intentionally pin them. I do a similar thing in my preferred #Wavebox browser. It has a main window with "apps" in a sidebar, but other windows are just tabs like chrome or whatever. I treat those windows as disposable. Anything I want to keep I intentionally move elsewhere.
@Johnny ‘Decimal’ Noble BTW, I'm on the lookout for similar solutions for Android. Right now I'm running Firefox Focus as my default browser, and anything I want to keep I intentionally open in Firefox proper. It's not ideal, but it works okay to prevent the dozens (or hundreds!) of temporary tabs that just accumulated on my phone over time
@death.au Interesting! Enough people are talking about Arc, deviating from the default browser is a massive move but it feels like it’s worth the look.
@Johnny ‘Decimal’ Noble Personally, I think Arc is different enough that it's worth the try to see if it jives (jibes? What's the word?) with you. Even if it doesn't, you can probably find some aspect you do like that you can replicate via some add-ons. Stack Browser is another one to look at for similar reasons
